Peter Morris

Der britische Waldorflehrer publiziert, neben seiner Unterrichtstätigkeit in Engelberg, Lektüren und Workbooks für den Englischunterricht. Außerdem inszenierte er zahlreiche englische Klassenspiele.

Geboren in London; Studium in Cambridge und Emerson College (Großbritannien).

Seit 1972 an der FWS Engelberg als Sprachlehrer für Klassen 1–12 sowie alle Abschlussklassen.

Zahlreiche englische Klassenspiele in Unter-, Mittel- und Oberstufe, darunter The Wedding at Ghostmoor Castle, Macbeth, Animal Farm, A Christmas Carol sowie die Operette HMS Pinafore von Gilbert and Sullivan.Seit vielen Jahren Veröffentlichung von Texten und Arbeitsmaterialien für Englischlehrer an Waldorfschulen, darunter auch diverse Lektüren für die Pädagogische Forschungsstelle: The Pancake, Ripe Plums in Spring, Ghosts at the Castle, The Flying Enterprise, Robin Hood, Little House in the Big Woods, A Christmas Carol und Gandhi, sowie die Arbeitsteile vom Dick Whittington, Living & Working in the Days of Charles Dickens und Nelson Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. Zuletzt erschienen die Lektüren Outlaw und Stone Fox, sowie eine Neubearbeitung von Little House on the Prairie (s. u.).

In den letzten Jahren verstärkt Entwicklung von Lern- und Übungsmaterialien, die an verschiedenen Waldorfschulen im Einsatz sind. Davon sind 2017 Workbooks für die Lektüren Outlaw und Stone Fox bei der Forschungsstelle erschienen (s. u.).
