James Caffrey

James Caffrey

The author for 'The King's Bread' reader for young learners of English.

James was born in Birmingham, England and studied furniture design at Loughborough University.
He has been teaching English in both South Korea and China, Man Yuan Waldorf School, since 2010 to primary school children.

James has written a collection of folk tales for young learners of English which are currently being used in China, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan. His experience in Asia helped him understand the needs of English learners in a culture so different from England.

Stories include Goldilocks, The Little Red Hen, The Giant Turnip, The King's Bread, The Little Hedgehog, Beowulf, Stone Soup and King Alfred. James is now working on more stories.

The King’s Bread
This new collection for Early Readers brings together four classic folk tales:
